We believe that parents have the right to know what happens in their child's school. We provide information and involve parents in school activities jn a variety of ways:

  1. Parent/Teacher Consultations - The first of these is in the Autumn term, this is an opportunity to discuss progress and plan for the future. The Spring meeting allows for the discussion of achievements and areas for your child's development. A written report is made on each child at the end of the school year and an opportunity given for you to discuss this with the class teacher.
  2. If you have concerns about your child you should in the first instance meet with your child's class teacher Messages may be given to teachers in the playground, at the start of the school day. An appointment may be made for necessary discussions.
  3. Children learn best when safe. Where we have concerns about your child we will talk to you. The Headteacher would inform relevant agencies where it was suspected that a child's well being was at risk.
  4. Freedom of Information and Data Protection - the schools follow these regulations and have policies covering both.
