Breakfast Club & After School Club on the Move

As you may be aware we have changed the location of the Breakfast Club and the After-School Club. They are now located in the large Star Room which overlooks the lower playground. This space has been completely refurbished with a new kitchen, network computers, Interactive Whiteboard and plenty of space for the children to play and learn.  The original location is being re-developed into our new Primary Science Lab. This is all part of the Primary Science Specialism developments. The building works for the Science Lab will be completed before the end of this term. We will then hold a number of ‘Open Days’ for parents at the beginning of the Spring Term.

Cypress Junior School will run the After-School Club from January 2009

A further important development for the school is that we’ll be taking over the After-School Club in the New Year. Mrs. Eddon will become the new Manager of the After-School Club. The hours of opening will remain the same - i.e. Monday to Friday, 3:15pm - 6:00pm.

To help us plan for this exciting new beginning it would be really helpful if you could indicate if you would like your child to have a place at the After-School Club with effect from the beginning of January 2009. Priority will initially be given to those children that already attend the current After-School Club but there is space and so we would like to offer everyone the chance to take advantage of what will be an outstanding service.
