Year 4 have been studying the artist Mark Boyle as part of their unit on Journeys.  Mark Boyle believes that anything can be a potential subject for art. Working mostly outside in urban areas he tries to show a slice of reality exactly as he found it.

We studied examples of his work like the one below then took a digital camera outside to try and make our own art, we photographed objects close up and tried to find particularly interesting patterns in our familiar environment.
